Supported conversions
Anything your browser can open can be converted to JPG, PNG or WebP — that includes PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, GIF (first frame), BMP, and on recent devices AVIF and HEIC photos straight from an iPhone.

PNG or JPG — which should you pick?
Use JPG for photographs: continuous tones compress extremely well and nobody notices the loss. Use PNG for screenshots, diagrams, logos and anything needing a transparent background: it is lossless, so text stays crisp instead of getting a halo of artefacts. Use WebP when the destination is a website — it does both jobs and comes out smaller than either.
Converting a JPG to PNG does not restore quality that the JPEG encoder already discarded; it only makes the file bigger. Conversion is one-way in that sense, which is why keeping your originals matters.

+ Is there a watermark?
No. The output is your image and nothing else. There is no watermark, no branding and no hidden marker of any kind.
+ Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?
Yes, provided your browser can decode HEIC. Safari on Apple devices always can; Chrome and Edge can on recent Windows and macOS installs. If a file cannot be decoded it is flagged in the list rather than silently skipped.
+ Does it keep transparency?
Converting to PNG or WebP keeps the alpha channel. Converting to JPG cannot — JPEG has no transparency — so transparent areas are filled with white.
+ Can I convert many files at once?

+ Does converting reduce quality?
Converting to PNG is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP re-encodes the image at the quality you choose — leave it at 90% or above if you want the difference to stay invisible.
